Flikkah came about as it combines my love of all things Hygge & creating a cosy environment in my home.
I started questioning, what is actually in the products that spray, mist & plug in that I'd used for many years? I started looking into the contents of melts, air fresheners & plug-ins and realised that it's quite frightening! If I wanted to be certain about what I'm burning, I'd just have to make my own.
The scents I created are inspired by Hygge principles, the Danish way of living in the moment, a contented, appreciative lifestyle that makes us stop, catch our breath, take pleasure in nature, our homes and the atmospheres we create for our loved ones.

This collection is a set of scents which encapsulate what Hygge means to me. I burn only my range every day and I never get bored!
Once I was satisfied with the scents and their clean eco credentials, I focused on packaging and reducing the waste of all this horrible plastic. Everything I produce is either from recycled materials or can be recycled, making the products as sustainable as possible!
I'm lucky to work in our beautiful 300-year-old Wash House, in the woods, in gorgeous Herefordshire. The Wash House used to be a clock makers, and then a steam train workshop! Now it's my Candle and Wax Melt oasis where I can focus, make and create till my heart's content!
